A national initiative that strengthens home-based palliative care by integrating emotional intelligence (EI) and the core competencies of the Canadian Competency Framework for Palliative Care into education and practice.
CHALLENGE: Design a visual system that could extend beyond the project and integrate seamlessly into CHCA’s long-term communications.
DESIGN CONCEPT: The identity is based on guidance and orientation: “ei” represents emotional intelligence, “compass” symbolizes direction and support. The logo uses a circular form with 12 radiating lines, evoking a compass and representing the Framework’s 12 competency domains.
