About me

Design, for me, is a way of making ideas accessible and human.

I’m interested in how people read, interpret, and connect with information. How structure, typography, and image can quietly guide understanding. I value clarity, but also tone. The way something feels matters as much as how it functions.

Outside of my professional work, I volunteer as a Gallery Guide at the Art Gallery of Ontario, where I lead conversations with visitors about art. These discussions remind me that interpretation is personal and layered. Listening to different perspectives continues to shape how I approach visual communication.

I also volunteer at a long-term care home, visiting residents and spending time in conversation. Slowing down and being present has reinforced something essential for me: good communication begins with attention.

When I’m away from the screen, I knit, embroider, and paint in watercolor. Working by hand helps me slow down and stay connected to creativity in a different way.
